Mobile Truck Repair in Dallas, NC
Dallas was Gaston County’s original county seat, and its old courthouse square still anchors downtown. Today the town sits at the junction of US-321, NC-279 and NC-275, which makes it a crossroads for trucks moving between Gastonia, Lincolnton and Cherryville. Red Rover Service handles truck and trailer repairs on site in Dallas. It’s about 41 driving miles from our Monroe shop, but a tech is based nearby on the west side, so Dallas is closer for us than the mileage suggests.

Dallas Routes and Industrial Sites
- US-321, the four-lane highway north from I-85 exit 17 past Gaston College toward Lincolnton. The Gastonia Technology Park sits along it about a mile north of the interstate.
- NC-279, which follows New Hope Road down to I-85 exit 20 and becomes Dallas–Cherryville Highway heading northwest.
- Apple Creek Corporate Center on Dallas–Cherryville Highway, home to food and manufacturing plants that keep trucks moving all day.
- NC-275 (Dallas–Stanley Highway) east toward Stanley and Mount Holly, and Dallas–High Shoals Highway toward the river.
Outside the town center, Dallas turns rural fast. Farms, grading contractors and owner-operators park trucks on their own land, often down gravel drives. If your truck is on private property off a county road, a landmark or a pin from your phone saves real time.
Gaston College brings commuter traffic onto US-321 at the start and end of the school day, and the stretch near the campus entrance can back up. If your truck is stuck on that part of the highway, a turn lane or business lot is a better place to wait than the shoulder.
