Mobile Truck Repair in Mount Holly, NC
Mount Holly is a truck town in the most literal sense: medium-duty trucks are built here. Red Rover Service repairs the trucks that work in and around it, from parts carriers and contractor rigs to the semis hauling for local plants. We’re about 31 driving miles from our Monroe shop, and a tech is based nearby on the west side, so Mount Holly is one of the easier Gaston County towns for us to reach.

Mount Holly Roads and Work Areas
The Daimler Truck North America plant on North Main Street opened in 1979 and builds Freightliner Business Class M2 and SD trucks, and a second shift announced in 2026 means more supplier and parts traffic on local roads. We’re an independent mobile shop, not a dealer, but we work on all makes. Other places we see trucks:
- NC-27, the main route northwest to Stanley and Lincolnton, and east across the river toward Mecklenburg County.
- NC-273 (Main Street) through downtown and south to Belmont and I-85 exit 27 at Beatty Drive in the Catawba Heights area.
- Mount Holly–Huntersville Road, the river crossing toward Mountain Island Lake and northwest Charlotte.
- Belmont–Mount Holly Road, the back way down to I-85 exit 26.
Much of Mount Holly runs along the Catawba River, and a lot of its older industrial lots have narrow gates and low clearance. If your yard has a tricky entrance, a quick description helps our tech set up on the first try.
