Mobile Truck Repair in Lincolnton, NC

Lincolnton is the county seat of Lincoln County, an old mill city on the South Fork of the Catawba River with the US-321 freeway running along its east side. Red Rover Service fixes trucks and trailers where they sit in Lincolnton and across the rest of the county. On paper our Monroe shop is a long way off, about 56 driving miles, but a tech is based nearby on the west side, in eastern Lincoln County, roughly a 15-minute drive from downtown. That makes Lincolnton a regular stop for us, not an occasional one.

Rated 4.7 stars from 155 Google reviews. BBB A+ accredited, licensed, insured and ASE certified. Call (704) 317-6161.

Lincolnton Highways and Work Sites

  • US-321, the four-lane freeway between Hickory and I-40 to the north and Gastonia and I-85 to the south. Most freight in and out of Lincolnton uses it.
  • NC-27 and NC-150, which share a commercial stretch east of downtown before splitting near the US-321 interchange in the Boger City area. NC-27 heads on to Iron Station and Stanley, and NC-150 runs east toward Lake Norman and Mooresville.
  • NC-155 (South Aspen Street), the old route of US-321 through town.
  • Lincoln County Industrial Park off US-321, where the AXIAL Midway 321 building on Finger Mill Road has 50 dock doors and trailer parking, with more distribution space planned nearby.

North Carolina’s first cotton mill was built here on the South Fork in 1813, and Lincolnton has stayed an industrial town. Today the work is a mix of manufacturing, warehousing, grading and building contractors, and farms out in the western part of the county. That means everything from tractor-trailers at a dock to a dump truck parked on a gravel lot off a county road.

Downtown streets around the courthouse square are narrow, and Main Street is no place to park a loaded tractor-trailer. If your truck is downtown, give us the nearest side street or business lot. Out in the county, a GPS pin from your phone is the fastest way to get our tech to the right driveway.

What We Handle in Lincolnton

What to Have Ready When You Call

  • Unit number, make and model year, plus what kind of trailer is hooked up.
  • The symptom in plain words, and any codes showing.
  • Where it sits: a street address, or northbound or southbound on US-321 and the nearest exit.
  • A dock door, gate code or phone number for whoever is on site.

Hours, ETA and Cost

Our techs roll Mon–Thu 8–6 and Fri 8–5:30 ET; we’re closed nights and weekends. Expect 60–90 min typical during business hours. Lincolnton pays the same single $75 flat fuel charge as a call next door to our shop, and there’s no mileage fee, minimum or call-out fee on top. You get a price before any wrench turns, and financing is available.

When Mobile Repair Isn’t the Right Fit

An engine teardown, major drivetrain work or anything that needs a lift is a shop job. If that’s where the diagnosis points, we’ll tell you straight.
